Casado Internet Group, also known as Advantage Information Management, is working hard every day to bring you a combination of the greatest of Ambergris Caye and the latest in Internet technology.

Casado Internet Group, then known as AIM, was founded in 1996 by Marty Casado and Alan McNeill, with an assist from Bruce Collins of the San Pedro Sun and the citizens of the community who decided to create an island website. This is a family operated enterprise, and most of what you see is the combination of HTML work by the Casado family, and a continuing flow of information from businesses, individuals, and friends of the island. We all share a love of the island, and feel that the people of Ambergris Caye should have an opportunity to tell the story of their island as they wish. As this site grows, you'll find many Ambergris Caye residents adding their words, pictures, art, movies and sounds here.

Please cruise the sites, and if there's something else you need to know, e-mail us by clicking here.

The AmbergrisCaye.com website came into being as a way to focus the marketing of the island on San Pedro and the surrounding waters, instead of the mainland of Belize.

This website has received over 50 million visitors since April 1996 (as of November 5, 2013) ... Currently we are serving 10,000 webcruisers per day, who view a total of 50,000 pages per day... that's over 300,000 visitors per month (unique hosts) ...

We have over 140 island businesses and non-profits (such as schools, habitat preservation groups, etc.) online. Individual businesses are always welcome, and the Casado family stress that they want the site to represent the island as well as possible to the internet community, therefore a large focus of the site is to maintain and strengthen information about the island in general.

The Messaging Center is a very popular spot for finding out that odd question about the island, locating that long lost fishing guide, or just a place for those without email services to correspond.

The site provides many with their first exposure to San Pedro and Ambergris Caye:

Special thanks to all the citizens of San Pedro who are constantly answering my questions as they educate this gringo on their island, and help him to present it to the world.

More thanks to Walter Soldierer, whose cgi programming expertise and teaching ability have helped so much to get this site running.

If you're on the island, and need hardware or software help, click here to contact Julian Rivero. His teaching and technical skills have helped many new computer users on the island to figure out how to use and fix these boxes as we each in our own time and way stagger into the world of computers one by one.

Here are the boys...Bruce from the San Pedro Sun, Julian, our island tech support, Alan, and Marty.

We are constantly looking to improve this site, and your ideas and suggestions are not only welcome, but are absolutely necessary if we are going to continue to build a quality site.

Thank you for your time, and we hope you enjoy this WebSite, and please wander freely and comment often. Our goal is to respond to the needs of the Ambergris Caye community.

This is your WebSite.
