Touring San Pedro Town
I didn't get a special San Pedro tour until my second trip to Ambergris Caye. I could have profited (literally) by that tour from the first minute of my first trip. We drove through the sandy streets of San Pedro Town in Caribbean Villa's stretch golf cart, stopping occassionaly as we were introduced to people, and given an explanation of the the history of the buildings and the island.
There were so many places I hadn't even found on my first trip. Just one example; fresh vegetables are found in a completely enclosed store, literally a walk in cooler. I must have walked past that on my first trip a dozen times.
