Our oceanfront property is 2 1/2 miles north of the
town of San Pedro on land that was formerly used
for growing coconut palms - a coconut plantation
or "cocotal". We span beach front to lagoon, so
water access is easy.

Central to the property is a freshwater pool with an
expansive coral stone deck for sunning.

Dining is just a beach walk away at nearby
restaurants. You can cook in your own kitchen, or
have our caretakers prepare a local meal
delivered to your rooms.

All excursions and mainland tours pick up at our
200 ft. long pier. From here you can explore the
island or other parts of Belize on day trips. There
are numerous dive shops and fishing guides that
will pick you up right at the pier and take you out
for an exciting day on the water.

Island sightseeing can be done by rental golf cart
or bicycle - we have several bicycles available for
guest use. The Island Ferry runs scheduled trips
up and down the island day and night.

Read a book by the pool, take a tour, ride a bike
to town, fish off the pier or just unwind with a walk
down the beach...it's all here for you to enjoy at

Ambergris Caye, Belize
Cocotal Inn and Cabanas is located on Ambergris Caye, a barrier island off the coast of mainland Belize
in Central America. We are 1/2 mile away from the second longest barrier reef in the world which runs 200
miles from southern Belize to Mexico. The location is ideal for diving, snorkeling and fishing, offering unlimited
opportunity to get out on the crystal clear waters of the Western Caribbean.

Rates
Cocotal Inn and Cabanas currently has three rental units - a studio casita, a one bedroom and a two
bedroom apartment. A garden studio cabana will also be available starting June, 2007.
The units can be rented individually or as an entire complex, subject to availability. The property will
accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 bedrooms.
Accommodations at Cocotal Inn and Cabanas
Upstairs is a two bedroom, two bath split
plan with a great room - full kitchen, dining area
and living area with cable television. The unit
features high vaulted ceilings of Belizean
hardwoods throughout. There is a covered front
veranda facing the sea (and sunrise), and a rear
screened porch facing the lagoon (and sunset).
The master bedroom has a 4-poster canopy bed
and a large private bathroom. The guest
bedroom has two single beds and a full bath.
Both bedrooms are air conditioned and have
ceiling fans. This apartment will accommodate up
to 4 people.

Downstairs is a one bedroom ocean view
apartment overlooking the pool with a full
kitchen, a large dining area, and living area with
cable television. The bedroom has a queen size
bed and is air conditioned. A full bath is adjacent
to the bedroom and living areas. This apartment
is suitable for either long or short term stays for
up to 2 people.
Rates: $100/$125 night
Our garden cabana is the newest addition to
the property. It is a free standing island style
8-sided air conditioned studio which will
accommodate up to 2 people. The cabana has
a full kitchen, dining area, king size 4-poster
bed, full bath and an open veranda.

The main house has two rentals, each with
private entrance and ocean views.
The casita is a private oceanfront cottage with
kitchenette, dining area, full bath, queen size 4-poster
bed, and a sitting area. The unit is air conditioned, has
cable television, ceiling fans, a covered veranda and a
romantic cupola with vaulted ceilings. It accommodates
a maximum of 2 guests.
