Located at the north end of San Pedro, Belize on our own 300 dock. Our dive center is equipped for all types of diving and snorkeling. With 3 new boats in 2006, we can handle individuals or private groups. Our staff consists of Two PADI instructors and four dive masters.
Our mission is to give the diver pampered service from small dive groups to early morning dives. Belize is known for its Barrier reef and World Class fishing, so come join the experience with ecologic DIVERS.

Basil Jones - Full Day of Diving
Start your day at 8am; get picked up at your hotel dock. Cruise along the north reef of Ambergris Caye. Make your first dive of the day at Sandy Point; a well known dive site, up north, for the incredible tunnel formations. This dive starts off at about 50' at the entrance of the tunnel and slopes down to a max depth of about 100'. Once you surface you are welcome aboard with purified drinking water, a fresh tray of fruits and snacks. Spend your surface interval on board while cruising to your second dive.
Your second dive of the day is at Basil Jones Canyons where the reef meets with the land at Ambergris Caye. The majestic canyon formation stretches out about 70'-100' to the east, in between grooves which slopes to 100'+ into the blue.
After your second dive, it is lunch time, where we come to shore at Basil Jones. You are served your lunch spread while you enjoy the peaceful sound of the waves crashing onto the reef. After lunch you have a short time to relax on the beach before you get to your last dive.
Your 3rd and last day for the day is a Mata Rocks Canyons; A slightly shallower dive site, popular for the abundance of queen conchs on the sandy area, which typically attracts eagle rays and nurse sharks.
Return back to your hotel around 4:30-5:00pm.

OTHER DAY TOURS
Manatee Watch and Belize Zoo
A full day of exciting new adventure; leave the island at 8:30am cruise along all the cayes of the north coast of Belize. Once you get to the city board your private van a get a city tour around the old colonial buildings of the city. Then drive up the western highway to Our Unique Belize Zoo. Get to know the indigenous creates of our tropical rainforest in a simulation of their natural habitat. After a fully guided tour at the zoo we drive down to a very popular Belizean Restaurant on the Western Highway. After your lunch cruise back to the city where you board your boat, a ten minutes ride will take you to Swallow Caye, a natural habitat for the elusive West Indian Manatees. After you take enough pictures of these amazing creatures; ride back to the island of Ambergris Caye.

Cave Tubing & Belize Zoo
Trip leaves the island at 7:00AM. Cruise along several Cayes along the way up the Belize River, where breakfast is served under a mangrove canopy while enjoying the view of the flora and fauna. Then aboard a bus which will take you to Sibun Caves Branch. Tube through this sacred Mayan caves and explore streams and rainforest to your heart's content-finish off you day with a tour at the Belize zoo where you'll enjoy of over 100 different species of wildlife that Belize has to offer.

Altun Ha Mayan Site & Jungle Spa Adventure
Leaves San Pedro at 8:30am cross over the Bay into the Mayan made channel, while sight seeing the wide variety of flora and fauna found in the river banks, to the remote village of Bomba. Here aboard a bus which will transport you through the old Pan American Highway (the first high way ever built which connected the Central American countries) to Altun Ha, where you get a guided tour around the archeological site. After a half day of raw adventure you head off to Maruba Jungle(which offers a selection of spa treatments). Spend the rest of your day retreated at the Maruba Jungle Spa. *Lunch is served at Maruba Restaurant. There is a pool and a hot tub available for the guests or book a message. Or if you are up to more adventurous activities you could go trial walking or horse back riding. The trip returns to San Pedro around 4:30-5:00pm.

Lamanai Jungle River Adventure
Trip leaves the island at 7:00AM ride over to Bomba, aboard a bus which will transport you through the old Pan American highway all the way to Orange Walk (a Northern District of Belize) Here the adventure begins board a second boat ride through the New River where the flora and fauna abounds; hundreds of different species of birds, fresh water turtles, green iguanas (protected specie), insect bats, wild orchids and much more wild life. A true wild jungle river ride! After that exciting river ride, right off the river bank you arrive to your final destination Lamanai. Here you get a guided tour, full of knowledgeable information, visit the small museum and/or the souvenir shop available on site. The trips returns home around 5:00-5:30PM

Watch the Manatees & Snorkeling Adventure
Start your day at 8:30am cruise along pass several Cayes until you arrive at Swallow Caye, a natural habitat for the West Indian Manatees. Spend some time viewing the elusive manatees, then off to Goffs Caye where you get to snorkel off the beach into the reef. While you snorkel with your guide, the boat captain stays behind to cook you a beach BBQ. After lunch you relax awhile on the island then off to Caye Caulker. There in front of Caye Caulker there one more snorkeling stop, after snorkeling you head off to the island to walk around and visit the quite fishing village (great spot for shopping souvenirs and t-shirt). You return back to San Pedro around 4:30-5:00PM

About Nitrox
Nitrox/Enriched Air enables you to dive at depth for much longer. It contains a greater percentage of oxygen and less nitrogen. This means that your body absorbs less nitrogen during a dive and you can dramatically increase your maximum allowable bottom time. This is particularly effective at deeper depths - from 16m 30m.
Another effect of Nitrox is that for the same dive time as an air dive, it reduces the harmful effects of nitrogen in the body. So your risk of getting DCS (decompression sickness/the bends) is reduced.

Shark Ray Alley
Snorkel with sharks and Southern Sting Rays!
This two square mile (6 to 10 feet deep) that is now protected by the Belizean Government became a popular snorkeling site in 1993 when it was observed that nurse sharks and stingrays congregated in response to fishing scraps being thrown into the sea.

Hol Chan Marine Reserve
The Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley Marine Reserve is located approximately 4 miles southeast of San Pedro Town near the island of Ambergris Caye. The Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley are the most popular diving/snorkeling sites in all of Belize.

MEXICO ROCKS
Mexico Rocks is six miles north of San Pedro Town on the way to Mexico. This is one of the most beautiful areas because of the colorful juvenile fish, such as, the rock beauty, queen angelfish, French angelfish, blue angelfish, yellowtail, damselfish, bandage shrimp, juvenile parrot fishes, fairy basslet and a large variety of different species of marine life. The corals, such as the brain corals, which forms big mountains from 8 to 20 feet up to the surface.

The Banana
Banana Beach is a beautiful new resort on the shores of the Caribbean in Belize, nestled on the best stretch of Beach on Ambergris Caye. Just far enough from town for real tranquility. About ecologic DIVERS
Ecologic Divers was formed by three divers who wanted to bring a unique experience to the dive community in Belize. After searching for the right area, Ambergris Caye was decided to be the perfect location.
The mission statement was simple:
"Let the diver have the very best time diving the water of the second largest reef."
We continue today to look for ways to make the diving experience in Belize one of the best in the world. Some people call it "diving Pampered style".
Dive Trips
We have over 50 dive sites accessible from our location. Our Instructors choose the sites to ensure you dive the absolute best sites available. We are open to requests from divers should you have read or heard of a site that you wish to dive, mention it to one of our divemasters during scheduling. All the best sites are conveniently located no more than a 10 minute boat ride away from our base!
2-Tank Dives
Our regularly scheduled day dives are what we call a 2-Tank Dive. A 2-Tank Dive means we go out to the chosen site, complete our dive and head back to shore for our surface interval.
After refreshments and a short surface interval we head back out to the Belize barrier reef to a shallower site to complete our second dive of the day.
Night Dives
We specialize in our Night dives several times a week and can be scheduled any night with a minimum of 3 divers.
We conduct our night dives at Hol-Chan Marine Reserve which guarantees you sightings of huge Grouper, Lobsters, Stingrays, Morays and the occasional Shark visitor.
Early-Bird Dives
We are the only company offing a early morning dive, beginning at 7:30a.m.. This gets you back to the dock by 9:00a.m. to enjoy the rest of your day lounging on the beach or touring the local sights.
Meet the ecologic DIVERS
Our employees and owners come from all over the world. As one of the few dive companies in Belize, we have two in-house instructors. Our instructors are PADI certified to teach all levels of recreational scuba diving.
Gilbert
Gilbert, has been leading land and water tours for over 20 years. His experience and knowledge of Belize is second to none. Growing up on Ambergris Caye has given him an special insight into what's going on in San Pedro.
Colin
Colin is the ecologic DIVERS videographer. He has been taking video for the last several years. Look for him on the dock with his camera in-hand.
Junior
Junior has been in the tourism industry for the past 7 years; a vibrant, young professional. He has, numerous times been named, on the top 5 best instructors of Ambergris Caye. His immense passion for the sea has leaded him to this profession. His ideal goal is to teach as many people to scuba dive and to make them aware of the riches that Belize has to offer.
He is a certified PADI MSDT. He is a Nitrox, EFR, and Specialty Instructor (under water photography, Deep Dive, Search and Recover, Diver Propulsion Vehicle, and Navigation) He is a licensed Local Tour Guide and a certified Boat Captain.
Suyapa Sosa
A born and raised native to the island of Ambergris Caye, Suyapa has florished in the tourism industry for many years. She initially started working for a small dive shop as the sales clerk. She became certified in order to sell dive tours. With first-hand experience about the diving in Belize, she became hooked on scuba diving. She is now an accomplished and certified scuba Dive Master. She is one of the only two Belizean, female Dive Professionals in San Pedro. She is a certified PADI Dive Master and a licensed tour guide.
