Yep Barnacle another Grey-Necked. good shot, real nice. Birds do this to let the hot sun chase out lice. I see woodcreapers against trees in sunny spots with wings spread like this a lot.

I was wondering if one of you guys could give me a web tech hint.
I want to hyper link text files, you know, as we use photobucket and flicker to give photos an address. How could I take a large text file and do the same? This bird for instance has a lot of information I wrote about him but its not considerate to post huge text post on threads like this ,but lots of people might like to know more about the bird.In some boards I've noticed an 'Under The Cut' feature,so unless you click on it its not in your face on the thread. Some solution like that may be?
