Description

This odd collection of thingamajigs is set up off the end of a deserted dock on the lagoon side of the island. In the past we have surmised that they could be some sort of fishing contraption, or perhaps something set up for target practice...or maybe it's just "art." We don't have a clue. Has anyone seen this or know what it is?

chunkyruth	They are too close together for kayaks to go around. I tend to agree with SimonB and the target range, but they are quite close to the dock...wouldn't have to be much of a shot to hit them. Has anyone else actually seen them? The dock is maybe 4 miles south of town.

catdance62	Maybe there are something to attract fish below (or grow fish or shellfish?) and the red things are to scare birds away. Other than that theory they local like targets to me.

SimonB	"wouldn't have to be much of a shot to hit them" It's for handgun practice, if you can easily hit ALL of those targets you'd be a good shot.
