i take my coffee and gear about 7 a.m. and sit in a chair about 5 ft from this nest. get all settled in with dog at my feet and start shooting. my damn cat comes along to join in and he plops down right under the nest! now the bird is gone as the nest is only about 1 ft from the ground. fuzznutts just looks at me with that "what? what i do?" look on his face.
i shoo the cat away and the bird comes back.
