pond keeping is more rewarding than most realize. it is a lot of work too. i had a teeny (10x12X18) koi pond years ago. it was too shallow and as the koi got larger, they started to jump out. we'd just put them back. we ended up selling the koi to someone and just raising comets, and i plunked my fancy goldfish and big ol' sucker fish in too. the sucker and black moor got eerily HUGE in there! i loved the way the water "boiled" after throwing pellets in!
