cool. let me know what the problem was

i can't load to this site directly from my files for some reason.
i follow the directions to a tee, but they don't show up.
portifino asked me to email a photo to see if they could load it and viola,, it loaded.
so,, it seems i have been trying to load too large of a file but i never got any warning like the instructions said i would get.
i just tried to load hercita from my files and it didn't go. i then emailed it to myself and uploaded that one just fine.
my email-er thingy must resize them to be acceptable?
anyway,, i think i am trying to load too large of a file.

how big was too big? doubt your email program resized them unless its a mac

i have to look around in my files to see.
the only place i have seen a size is in the emailer.
the only thing i see in nikon view is "image size, large, 2000x3008",, doesn't say kb's or mb's.
but when i email it,, it is 3-something kb's

barnacle and marty - i never get the error message to resize either. i just now know (from previous foul ups) that if it doesn't show, it's probably too big.

i love the idea of this forum, but the reworking stuff got tedious, so i opted to go back to posting links.

i'll have to be happy with being a spectator.

marty,, i am thinking of going the same path as SJ.
it is somewhat of a hassle for me to re-size as well, partly cause i'm a goof, but lazy as well.
any chance of increasing the size limits?
