I found these growing in the mexico rocks area and transplanted them at my house several years ago. The bloom smells bad , a lot like a dead fish and attracts bugs that get stuck in the heart of the bloom where they slowly get digested.
Anyone know what this is?
I googled 'finger cactus' but discovered that covers lots and lots of choices none of which look like this smelly puppy.

Carrion Flower, Good name for it! carrion is the name for carcass of a dead animal and its sure smell like one.

Should be good for attracting vultures.

The smell isn't detectable from 6 feet away.
Anything that eats mosquitoes is a friend of mine, and this plant attracts and traps them like a magnet.
