Gotta be photoshop...a fish this big, this fresh, this weight, holding a limp fish with two hands and no blood on the deck...not so much

Fake or not though...I sure do wish I was out on the water right now...man it's hot

Blood on his legs and the mat to the right. Shadows look right. That's a lot of Charlie there!

In Zihuatanejo, before there was an Ixtapa airport, we saw six teenage fisherman (with a parade of younger kids) hauling a tuna almost this big through the dust on a rope. Word spread fast and the monster was butchered in the middle of the small plaza, I guess there was tuna in the pot in a lot of kitchens that evening. Paid about a dollar for a big dusty hunk...so much we had to have it for supper and breakfast.

This is how big they get! His buddies probably helped lift it up for him. I guess he caught it on a line? If he had speared it then I'd rate the guy a legend.

Tuna in above shot looks like an Allison(yellowfin)
Bluefins get a lot bigger
http://abacoforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7073

On the Japanese market a choice Bluefin can bring $500 a pound or more depending on quality(care) and fat content.
YES....a pound!
