JZB	I think they are your garden variety grackle. I thought it odd that the nest is on a small tuft of mangrove 15' from the beach. I guess it will be safe from racoons!

elbert	If you drowned them now it might be better than taking a chance the raccoons won't eat them. iguanas like them , you could feed them to someones pet iguana.

Barnacle	a few weeks ago the must have been courtin. the males would fluff waaaaaay up and scream. with them eyes it was very disturbing. and i never got a photo in.
