Whats wrong with grackles?

Damn Elbert...any other wildlife you wanna kill or hate on? first its smashing mice and now the grackle babies. I'll put a bounty on you and Jesse if you even look at those babies funny. I'm kidding, sort of.

Nah, I just curse 'em as they steal the dogs food and generally raise hell outside on my veranda. Very noisy and irritating...

well i'm happy to hear they are not completely useless LOL!

truthfully I dislike grackles because they murder the other birds over territory. They over populate and eventually take over. I shoot them to keep the population down because I enjoy the other birds. I pick out the male and shoot him only, the females go away after the males are gone.

then i go inside and squash mice :-)

they MURDER? indeed what hyperbole. Elbert's playing God again-beware all creatures he deems unfit to share the earth with. It would appear from your own admission that you are not such a great steward of nature Elbert. Be careful out there...you too Elbert!

I used the word murder deliberately. its different than kill.

Not only do the grackles steal the dog food they make a terrible racket while doing so then crap all over the railing. Then they bath in the swimming pool and crap some more.

If you have grackles you will not have any other birds.

Reminds me of my favorite old joke about the three useless things god created and # 3 was "those god damned ants!" Grackles are the ants of the air.

Pesky effing wildlife crapping on the railing...seriously LOL! I won't mention in detail your formidable environmental footprints on the AC and sea ecosystem Elbert and Harriet.

Killing the local wildlife for behaving as it was created to behave is misguided to say the least. We have grackles and tons of other avian species cohabitating as creation intended, as I know you also do on AC. Move to a grackle-free locale if you don't like them, don't claim they "murder", and then go out and selectively shoot members of a particular species because you disdain its natural characteristics is ridiculous, ayayay!
