I was fortunate enough to have gone out on an animal rescue with Belize Bird Rescue last week and took these photos as we struggled to extricate a sick Tapir from the bush near Burrell Boom. Belize Bird Rescue volunteered the use of there animal ambulance and transported the Tapir to rehab at the Belize Zoo. Unfortunately we where too late and the Tapir died the next day. www.belizebirdrescue.com
