Mike is gone...I still cannot believe it...he was a dear friend and will be sadly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. I met Mike 20 years ago when I first came to Belize. At that time he was in and out of Belize with the RAF, He ended up his career with serving the last few years on loan from the British government serving the Belize Defence Force Airwing. Mike always wanted to live in Belize and reserved a position with Tropic Air so that he could continue to work and live in Belize. After his daughter was born in England and his commitment was finished with the British forces Mike and his lovely family moved back to Belize and he entered employment with Tropic Air LTD. From the very start he was a great asset to the company, as time went by he eventually was promoted to Quality Manager of Tropic Air LTD. I cannot express how good a job he made of this heavy task, there was no 9 to 5 ever even considered, the man was totally responsible and worked 7 days a week. If I live to be a hundred years old I really doubt if I will have the pleasure of knowing someone and calling him friend the way I new Mike . God rest your soul Mike you will be missed.
