Description

The Owner of the lots north of Coco Locos is installing a 6 wire barbwire fence around the property apparently to keep equipment off of the land.
It is incredibly dangerous to bicycles and pedestrians that are used to going through there. It could kill someoone on a motorbike.

cracked up	I believe that if it is within the SPTC jurisdiction and reported, they will order it removed. Barbed wire is not allowed.

belizeonthebeach	I think Cracked Up is correct. I seem to remember a resort to the south that put up a barbed wire fence and even went as far as to electrify it. The Town Board made them remove it.

Northern Canuck	Surely a police officer has been north of the bridge since this fence has been erected. The original post/pic is over 7 days old. Either they didn't know the law, didn't report it or the north has very limited police protecion (if in fact it is against a SP by-law).
