new arrival

Description

this little guy just showed up. he is small, bout 1/2 the size of the others.
i have 2 more shots to get. one showing his purple tail feathers, and one of him sitting on my finger.
in my past life in colorado, i had hummingbirds sit on my finger all the time. but the ones around here are too nervous.
but this one does!

Barnacle	plate 28,, i think your right. it is so cool when they land on your finger. you feel their feet grab you but there is absolutely no weight.

Barnacle	all the Cinnamon's are that way,, but this guy is different. as i sit in my bar stool just raising my camera can spook them.

Rykat	any good sites for education on these critters? Just set up feeders recently here in NJ and had three different arrivals show up within 1 day - two tiny, one slightly larger - sure are skittish! _________________________ "...
