Moth

The head end looks like a bat and the tail end looks like a swallow. This guy has been hunting around my yellow porch bug light the last few nights. I find photos of some that are close - but as they say 'no cigar!' My flash makes the stripes look very yellow when in fact they are neon green.
What do you think?

elbert	I have a couple of them here at my window but they have horizontal green striped bodies I don't see on your example. Chica Blanca	Aren't they beautiful!! I have been enjoying watching sail by for weeks now. They are hard to get a photo of, as they prefer to fly along the tree line. But they do have to come down sometime. I finally got one myself the other day as one came in to rest on a lantana. Nature is amazing. Coleen Beach bum, butterfly stalker, native plant enthusiast.
