to pair a cancer patient and a perceived bad meal or dinner gripe to this board is not considered by this board person to be reasonable.
i am pulling this and references to any particular place that isn't a more reasonable review.
i worked as a chef in fine dining for 20 years, and served hundreds of thousands of dinners. hmm 100 a night for 7 nights a week for 20 years = 2 million dinners.
we poisoned a few, i am sure some got tough steaks or chewy halibut. not many, but it happens. eating is a tricky business. we are all individuals, and what we put into our stomachs has relatiuon to what is there alrady among other things.
heck how it looks makes a huge difference.
anyway, stuff happens. public humiliation is not the answer. i try to save that for real desperation. chatting at the time about a problem is much more effective. also allows the establishment the chance to make it up to you, which often happens in spades if you play your cards right. and be a nice reasonable person.
course i was born and raised quaker. so that turning of the cheek comes easy and naturally.
(quakers or 'friends' are nonviolent for those not familiar)
