A River Runs Right Up To It
And further west in Cayo this time in San Ignacio Town, heavy showers yesterday evening have caused the Macal river to rise.
These pictures taken this morning show water at the lip of the temporary wooden Bridge connecting San Ignacio and Santa Elena Towns.
At news time the bridge was passable, but it was closed. Further down river, we understand the Iguana Creek Bridge was flooded earlier today. http://www.7newsbelize.com/sstory.php?nid=17649
