*A 22-year-old female Honduran reported to Police, in the presence of a Human Service Officer, that sometime between May1, 2010 and May, 31, 2010 a female known to her as Tanisha Tucker recruited her by false promises and transported her to Belize through the Western Border. While in the country of Belize, Tanisha brought her to San Pedro Town and compelled her to work in a bar. She managed to escape but sometime between June 5, 2010 and June 21, 2010, Tanisha Tucker (by means of threat) exploited her by compelling her to provide forced labor at the bar. Police later arrested and charged Tanisha Tucker, 24-year-old, Belizean businesswoman of San Pedro Town. </p>

<p> *A 20-year-old female Guatemalan reported to Police, in the presence of a Human Service Officer, that sometime between February, 24, 2010 and March 3, 2010, a female known to her as Martha Julia Jimenez Estrada recruited her by false promises and transported her from Guatemala to the country of Belize through an illegal crossing point at the Belize Western Border. While in the country of Belize, she was brought to San Pedro Town and placed her in a bar attempting to harbor (by the use of threats) to exploit her as prostitute. Police later arrested and charged Julia Estrada Jimenez, 24-year-old, Guatemalan Businesswoman of San Pedro Town. </p><P>Ambergris Today
