Cricketers from the Falkland Islands are in Belize to play our national team and make a donation to Liberty Children's Home. It's part of their Caribbean tour of Belize, Barbados and Jamaica. The purpose of the visit is to promote cricket in the Falkland Islands and improve the skills of their players. While in Belize, the team will be hosted by the Belize National Cricket Association and the British High Commission, play several exhibition matches against the Belize National team and contribute a charitable donation to the Liberty Children's Home in Ladyville. The team has a full itinerary of exhibition matches scheduled for this week. The team will play its final game against Belize National Squad for a 45-over game at Bermudian Landing Cricket Grounds on Wednesday followed by a farewell reception at the Black Orchid Resort, on Wednesday evening.
