Lacy, Yes using barges is still the only way to transport equipment and large quanitity materals to the north end of the island.

I think the orginal plans called for a bascule bridge. There are many varieties of bascule bridges. Tower Bridge in London being one. This picture is probably more in line with AC requirements. It will definetly be interesting to see what it is in reality.

The realtor that handled your transaction is responsible for billing you. Just the word on the street.
