Here’s a good laugh. You wonder why the roads in town are so bad and not getting fixed? At yesterdays Chamber of Commerce meeting it was announced the grader is broken and the town does not have the money to get it fixed. So maybe soon the roads in town will be as bad as the road up north.

I realize it is a cardinal sin to attempt to interfere with/help out with the local government (by ex-pats and "outsiders"), but is anyone aware of any provision for the forming of a road district or road levy to go toward road improvments? I know no one wants more taxes or increased taxes, but sometimes you have to put your money where your mouth is, as they say, and it seems the northern development folks have some road work that needs to be done.

Just a thought - not necessarily an educated one.

If I can figure out how to post some pic,s I will do it Monday, as have lots of them. Probably took my last ferry ride last Monday, as it will soon be replaced.
Glass 1, I did buy property to make money and also to live there.
And this is not a illusion of Granduer, but a dream, in progress, like any other town.
The only difference is, I will help keep dev. in a GOOD Taste, and not ruin it, if I can.
