Friends of San Pedro, Caye Caulker, and all other kinds of donors are greatly appreciated. For secure credit card donations for San Pedro Town Council Relief Fund, go to: http://AmbergrisCaye.com/donations/

To donate to the Caye Caulker Village Council Relief Fund, go to http://CayeCaulker.org/donations/

This is the VERY BEST WAY to contibute to the islands.

Gach said they didn't need medicine or water, but he would NOT refuse any dollars that we can send down. Rumor is they can be used for all their immediate needs, and are very flexible. When needs change, you don't need to repack anything.

PLUS- Its easy to get thru customs, there is NO duty on it, I GUARANTEE we can get them thru. We have been doing it all day. I have sent 4 shipments of dollars today and they are already in the bank.

This is very important:
If you want to send $$ directly to the San Pedro Relief Fund, through Money Transfers from your bank directly to the Belize Bank, do this:

Call your bank. Tell them to send the money to:
BANK OF AMERICA INTERNATIONAL
ONE WORLD TRADE CENTER
NY, NY 10048-1191

ABA# 02600953

For Payment to:
The Belize Bank Limited
San Pedro Town, Belize
HURRICANE KEITH DISASTER RELIEF FUND
SAN PEDRO/CAYE CAULKER
FOR ACCOUNT NUMBER 5056176

For checks or money orders, send to:
Payable to:
San Pedro Town Council
Addressable to:
The Mayor
San Pedro Town Council
P.O. Box 54
San Pedro Town, Belize
Fax: 001-501-26-2492

This is very important:
If you want to send $$ directly to the Caye Caulker Relief Fund, through Money Transfers from your bank directly to Barcley's Bank, do this:

The account name is: Caye Caulker Village Council, c/o Irene Miller (the only reason Irene's name is used is for address only).
The account number is: 751289111.
The account is located at: Barcley's Bank in New York City; address 75 Wallstreet.
Irene said then it goes through a swiss acccount. That account number is: BARCUS33.
Then it has to go through the Barcley's Bank in Belize City, Belize

Many of you have been asking about a registered US 501C(3)corporation to accept donations for the relief effort. The DeSoto, Texas Lions Club Boy Scout Troup 141 has come to the rescue. They have established a bank account for cash contributions and will send all donors a tax receipt. They are also raising funds themselves, along with the DeSoto Lions Club.
Dallas area donors of supplies will also be sent a tax receipt, so if you route supplies through them in Dallas, they will accept the contribution and send you a tax receipt.

Checks should be clearly marked for DeSoto Lions Club Troup 141 Hurricane Keith Relief Fund and sent to the following address:

DeSoto Lions Club Boy Scout Troup 141
P.O.Box 686
DeSoto, Texas 75115

100% of all cash and supplies will be sent to the San Pedro Town Board for distribution.

If you have any questions or need further information, please contact me at ehask@airmail.net
=====================
The Embassy of Belize to the US in Washington, DC has
opened a account to start accepting donations in conjunction with the relief
effort. The account is at Riggs Bank, Dupont Circle, Washington, DC in the
name: Embassy of Belize Hurricane Keith.
Currently, the Embassy is accepting only check donations. They can be sent to:

Ambassador Lisa M. Shoman
Embassy of Belize
2535 Massachusetts Avenue, NW
Washington, DC 20008

An accompanying email to belize@oas.org would be appreciated so we could track
all donations. It would be for the entire relief effort and not just for Ambergris Caye

Please note: ABA#054-00-00-30
Account# 173-165-46

Just heard from Vicki and Lisa Arceo, the sisters of the Honorable Patty Arceo, and they have arrived in Belize City and are on the island by now.
Vicki said they arrived safely with all the materials, and sailed through customs smoothly. As soon as they arrive on the island, we will be in contact to continue to get the donations on a straight shot to the town council.
Vicki says it is VERY IMPORTANT to label the materials you ship as:
TO:
BELIZE HURRICANE RELIEF
C/O SAN PEDRO/CAYE CAULKER
C/O THE HONORABLE PATTY ARCEO
BELIZE

there will be no duty on these items.
