Does anyone know of any romantic/special restaraunts in the area? We will be in AC the end of May. Thanks so much for everyone's comments on this board. Such great information. I am so excited about our trip!

Take a boat ride up to Mata Chica and dine at Mambo's. Great romantic setting, wonderful food and atmosphere. Casa Picassco is another fabulous choice. Closer to town that Mambo's and again really wonderful food and ambiance. I am certain Chris and Jen could hook you up with a romantic table for two.
Capricorn's is also very good if you want to dine on a terrace, not quite as intimate (IMHO) though as Casa Picasso and Mambo's. mobunny cool

I forgot to mention the restaurant at Victoria House -- beautiful setting - you can dine under the stars there too. Great food and service. mobunny cool

If you go up to Mambo's right next door is Rojo Lounge, a new very romantic restaurant. You could split drinks and dinner between the two places, which would make for a very nice evening. Just had dinner at both restaurants last week and now both are on my list of top 5 restaraunts on AC. I felt Rojo's was more romantic but the food at Mambo's was slightly better.

That's a great idea, I was wondering if Rojo's was open. May do that for our 20th anniversary dinner. mobunny cool

Thanks for all the helpful ideas. I emailed Mata Chica to see about reservations. Hopefully I'll hear back from them soon. Thanks again!
