My family and I are coming to SP at the end of July and are staying at white sands cove/belize beach suites. I've searched the topics and it came back with some useful info......but.

one post said the pool was a saltwater pool. is this still the fact?

my other question was about the hand ferry. what are the hours of operation and cost? we might be renting a cart for the week, so that is a consideration also.

any other info for staying at white sands (and up north) would be greatly appreciated. we can't wait to get there.

Hand ferry is open 7/24, $10BZ roundtrip for carts, $2 for foot/bike traffic (non-local apparently). Prices double after 8pm.

I'm pretty sure that the pool is not saltwater as that would be a maintenance nightmare.

Great staff and great location.

Cap't Morgans had a saltwater pool for many years. Not sure about White Sands.

Their website said that it is a fresh water pool. Have fun!
