A brief write up:

Belizean Entertainment, a group of young Belizean Artists, who perform, record and release urban music in the Caribbean Genre’s of Dancehall Reggae, Spanish Reggae and Reggaeton, are back after being noticeably absent from Belize’s Musical Scene. Their absence was due to refocusing of their group, as well as the death of their artist and producer Leal-J earlier in February of this year, in a tragic traffic accident. This has not stopped them however and they are back with an explosion.

The group now comprised of Belizeno, Flaco, Cita & Benge-T, are now ready to release their second cd. This time around they come a full 360 degrees as they present their new work, entirely in Spanish and of the current musical phenomenon called Reggaeton, which they have created with their own unique style, mixing it with unique production and dancehall flavor. This cd (which is a mixtape format cd) is released in conjunction with Belize’s premier Reggaeton DJ Super Mario of Belize’s Biggest Latin Radio Station Estereo Amor. The Cd will be available in record stores countrywide on Friday August 19th.

Explosive performances, which so far this year have been part of their schedules, compromise of numerous club shows throughout the country, as well as opening for Latin Techno Cumbia Star Rossy Warr. A stellar performance, which the media and critics called “Explosive” was given, as they opened for the Internationally known Latin Super Stars Kumbia Kings at the Costa Maya Festival in San Pedro earlier this month. Belizean Entertainment is also launching their Official Website: http://www.belizeanentertainment.bz which consists of biographies of the artists, information about cd releases, as well as a media section with new, photos, video samples and audio samples.

Be on the lookout for this powerful, unique and diverse group of artists, as they are touted by many to be the group of artists to make it to international fame. They will be promoting their new album La Fundacion – The Reggaeton Mixtape, with various media appearances, as well as club & show promotions, starting with 27th of August, at Copa Cabana in Belize City. Dates for shows at Orange Walk, San Pedro, San Ignacio and Belmopan to be announced.
