I looked for information about Tony Brown´s tour in the states, and I couldn´t find any. Where did these shows take place? Also I googled his name in a bunch of different ways, and found not one article about him. I like his music and wanted to learn more about him, being such a consimate musician. Maybe some bootlegs of these many shows he´s played. It seems wierd that someone that has played with so many "big names" doesnt have one thing about him on the internet. Also I was looking for conformation about him co-writing "No Women No cry" which he told me 2 years ago at the Hammock House when I was in town. If anyone knows where I can get more info about him please reply.

Yes, Ive seen Tony Brown´s website. I was looking for some independent information on the artist. His website says so much amazing stuff, I wanted to learn about him from other sources....but there is nothing. Also with all the touring in the states it seems like at least one of the clubs would have advertised on the net...its pretty standard. I can google a pimple I had on my butt 10 years ago and I get three hits, but for Tony there is nothing. I was just looking for some other resources for one of Belizes most accomplished musicians. Any help would be great.

well Stinky....the concert I was at during his last tour was private. It was September 17th, a very large private party with around 100 guests. Sorry, no website for you to visit, but, as always, he was awsome. laugh

Tony Brown here. I don't know how to get on the messaage board so I am sending this to you. I got the latest BS on me on the chat online. I usually don't pay any attention to any of this crap, but this one got under my skin. It came half way round the world from my daughter.

First of all...I am not here to justify myself to characters who use the invisibility of the internet to act like they are so damned righteous.

Secondly, I put that press release out there "just" to let people...who care...know music was starting up again for the season at Fido's.

Third and most important. I have "NEVER" told anyone I co-wrote "No Woman No Cry." and who ever this person is I "supposedly said this to, I say this, "they are a bare face liar!"
And should keep their mouth shut if they can say something positive to add to life instead of ignorance to cause problems.

Last but not least. If this person could not find anything on the internet about me and my most recent routing in the US I can supply them with names of venues I performed at and names of the club owners and promotional companies. The names listed in the press release are people I "HAVE" opened shows with. They were NOT people I toured with this most recent visit to the US.

LAST
I can't believe that people have time or interest to expend on writing, good or bad about me. What a fricking boring life if shooting me down is someone idea of a big thing. Try cutting somebody down that matters like a president, a govenor a king or a super star. Cutting me down only serves the ego of a tiny fricking person.

Glad to finally see Tony respond to this.

People can believe what they want and
question people as much as they want -
that's everybody's right, but only cowards
are afraid to do it to peoples face instead
of hiding behing some internet alias.

This is really not about Tony, but about
someone else who is throwing mud without having the courage to let us know who he/she is.

If Tony and I disagree about something, which
we surely do from time to time, it will be
dealt with as adults, face to face - not like
this recent bizarre attempt to run a smear campaign
against a single person on an otherwise
positive message board about life and events
in Paradise.

Who ever you are: It is very simple. If you
don't like T.B., don't listen to him.
There's plenty of music out there. Get a
life!

I'd have to second that emotion! I lurk, but
rarely post anymore, but this just struck a
nerve. That comment was most unwelcome. I
think we all should openly discourage shady
comments such as this. I for one am sorry I'll
have to miss tony's upcoming Fido's shows.
A bright spot in this mean old world.

Most long time residents of San Pedro know that Bob Marley did not steal the song from anybody he bought it from Pisano for a dolla. What most people do not know is that Pisano is one of the most prolific songwriters of the century. The only reason you have not heard from him much is that he has been devoteing his time latley to computers.he has developed his own operating system called outstreched palm, for conectivety he will use another of his systems called yellowtooth.find out more atwww.givemeonedollamofo.com

danbze, funny!

A few weeks ago, in AC, I was fortunate to see Tony Brown play both Fri. & Sat. night at Fido's. He is a wonderful musician. During a break he introduced himself and we had many laughs! I highly recommend a visit to Fido's to catch his show.

Make sure to introduce yourself!
