Do I need to take any immunizations/vaccinations before I go to Belize? Thank you!

Check with your doctor or a travel clinic. I went to a travel clinic first and they tried to get me to take a lot of stuff I wasn't sure I needed so I got an rx for something for malaria and some Cipro for anything immodium won't clear up. Before agreeing to anything else I went back to my regular doctor and it turned out I'd already gotten my Diptheria and Tetnus from him (2 of the things the travel clinic pushed). I also got him to prescribe Twinrix for Hep A and B (fyi, this one was very expensive and wasn't covered by health insurance, here in Canada anyway).

MOSTLY IT WOULD DEPEND ON WHERE EXACTLY YOUPLAN TO VISIT... AND YOUR GENERAL HEALTH...
IF YOU'RE DOING JUNGLE TOURS... MAYBE.... IF YOU ARE GOING TO THE BEACH... JUST MOSQUITO JUICE

Wherever you go make sure you're covered & up-to-date for tetanus & Hep A&B. Hep A vaccination in particular isn't optional, whatever the cost. If you stay on AC and don't go into the "wild jungle" on the mainland then you needn't worry about malaria. Dengue fever is theoretically a risk but in practice a pretty small one.
