Island Dog's golf cart was stolen from in front of the San Pedro Super Market yesterday afternoon at 5:00 PM.

License Plate #: 26576
Club Car..2003 model
White, 4 seats, extended roof, black plastic fender skirts over the wheels, double chrome front bumper, squeeze bubble horn on drivers side. There are three small decals above the front license plate. Red, blue, and yellow (little squares and triangles). Contact Mike at 662-1431, or call San Pedro Police. There is a $200.00 reward for the carts return.

mike,(dog man) you know better than most that the keys are alike. lock it up!! i hope you get it back but in the meantime everyone please keep an eye out for it. if you don't find it i'll be there in a 13 days and find it for ya bud. (well i'll try anyway) good luck....2miles wink

It's bad enough when someone steals from an unknown... but when you steal from your family (and I consider everyone in SP family) you are the lowest of the low. I use to be particularly hard on guilty defendants when it involved stealing from a friend or family member. eek

That's really a shame. (Sorry Island Dog) You'd think something the size of a golf cart would be hard to steal and hide - let alone drive around without being noticed that it is a stolen vehicle. Do the carts get broken down for parts and thereby never recovered? mobunny

I've found stolen carts in the dump partially chopped, run out of gas in desolate areas and parked on the beach.

Most just joyride (usually for a few hours) and some steal the gas. Chopping happens but not widely practiced, yet.
