Oh yes there certainly is! There are plenty of excellent guides for beginners to pros and I'm sure the board will chip in with some of their favourites.

ynmaker: Absolutely do AC. Do a search here and you'll get lots of good info. We all have our favorites- mine happen to be Manuel Azueta and Vincent Dawson- but there are many more.

Ambergris caye has some nice action on a fly-rod, and spinning gear. Another place which has wonderful Permit fishing on the flats is Placencia. You can wade right in and cast any fly that mimics a crab, or shrimp. That's just my two-cents bro........adios, ms
