I am considering taking this trip with a small group of friends. This would be our one big trip with a couple of snorkeling trips. From what I can tell this is a good trip to book with Tanisha Tours and Daniel Nunez. Any comments or feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

For an all day trip to Caye Caulker I like Hustler Eco Tours catamaran package: Leave at 9:00 AM - snorkel Hol Chan & Shark and Ray Alley with lunch at a restuarant of your choice on Caye Caulker. After the last snorkel the beer and rum come out. You are back by 4:30. All this on a sail boat so no noisy, smelly motors.

We did Lamanai on TropicAir. Had our own plane, our own boat, our own guide. It was fantastic. Avoided the crowds and we were back on the beach in SP that afternoon.

I checked out the web site and I do have one question, I went on the Lamanai tour last year. Great tour, no complaints at all but, our guides pointed out that the water was very dark (I think from the mangroves) and not beautiful clear blue water as seen in the Manatee photos. I don't know what the chances of seeing Manatees are but could someone enlighten me? I am a manatee freak but even so, just seeing a swirl of water and a glimpse of tail does not really work for me having dived with them in Florida.

I've seen quite a few in the New River. The water is tea coloured but you can still see them. The pictures you saw were probably taken in open water inside the reef, not in the river.
