In the setting buttons above the picture, select "Animate" and
drop down the dropdown menu now set at 6. Just to provide
some contrast, set it at 10.


Now go down on the picture and point to San Pedro and click.


It's beginning to appear Chantal has either hit a wall, or is trying
to pull her stuff back to the trailing big cloudmass to the east and
maybe do some organizing around that one, or both.


If she sits, that southwesterly windshear is going to fade away. It
may be going now.


The little anticyclone east of Chantal is going to impart a wee bit of
spin.


Chantal is soaking up sunlight energy as we tap.


All bets are slowly being declared "off".

Set that map for medium zoom and animate as little as four frames.


Now look up in the northwest.


That rapidly descending front has built a wall out of the clouds that
used to be zipping along the windshear.


Chantal is gonna be with us a while unless she slips northward. If
anything, I think she's gonna be squeeze back soutward, both of her.
