OK, after a few years of French in school many moons ago, I'll take a stab at the first paragraph. I should be studying Spanish in preparation for my Costa Rica/Panama trip but what the heck!

John Greif II, an American Engineer, married Celi Nunez of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye.

In 1965, Celi and John purchased land on the beach where they constructed, a bit late, the first hotel in San Pedro: The San Pedro Holiday Hotel.

Having some years of pilot instructor experience, it was evident for him that tourists had a need of means of transporation faster than local fishing boats.

OK, now my brain hurts. eek

Very good though! For those who need more you can take any web page, or text for that matter, and translate it using Google Language tools: http://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=en
