Tis the season to be thankful. I just realized I can be thankful that I do not have to sell time shares to afford what I need and like and I do not have to go to time share presentations just to get something for "free".

Unfortunately, Belize is attracting those that do both.

Great publicity though, lots more are coming in for a look around after learning about the comp'd week on this thread!

UDIVEGIRL: I am thankful, you are sorry. I have some friends that are in the time share sales in Belize. I would prefer that Belize not be so involved with time shares because of the tactics used by some that have given it a bad name. On the other hand, I know that time share can have advantages to some when done right. The problem I have is with those who's tactics give it the bad name.
And, I can see where you are sorry. I would be sorry if my budget forced me to be so disengenuos that I had to attend a time share presentation knowing I had no interest in buying just to get a freebie. Hopefully, you will attend the presentations of the ones that deserve your interest and my friends can spend their time with those that have a genuine interest.

Even Bad publicity is Good Publicity.

As with all of the subjects we discuss on this board, time share is here, so the task at hand is to put the necessary controls in place so that time share sales people and their resorts can make a living and those people that feel that it is all a scam can be shielded from a full frontal onslaught of freebies!
