We'll be arriving in San Pedro in early-February, with the Jerry Jeff Walker goin's-on providing a convenient excuse for 5 friends from Oregon to visit AC for the first time.

This board has been most helpful to the process of becoming familiar with AC and SP. Thanks for the tips on travel, activities, partying, tipping(cow and other), accomodations, credit cards, beer, rum, snorkeling, fishing, etc. etc.

Two questions that I've been unsuccessful in answering so far:
1) How do you locals pronounce "Ambergris?"
2) Where in the heck is Wet Willy's Bar?

1. uh...I'm not answering that one in case I mess it up.

2. You'll find Wet Willy's when you get here. Nothing is hard to find. laugh

OK, so the 5 of us are topless lesbian divers in search of the ulitmate AC experience. Now will someone please pay attention on this crappy, rainy, cold Oregon Friday afternoon and answer my questions?

LOLOL! that was classic.

Very nicely done.

In all honesty, why do you need to know the exact location of Wet Willy's before your arrival? Its on the beach, on a dock, you'll hear the music on wednesday night.

Not a problem if you can buy knee pads on AC for crawlin' home drunk, but I'm guessing that knee pads are in short supply in SP, so we'd like to be able to proactively caluclate the distance from bar to home to ensure packing an adequate supply.
