For years my wife and I have marveled at how many stars you can see in Belize sky at night. Every evening at 9:00 PM, we walk out on the pier and look at the stars and talk for a few minutes. There is a map of the evening sky on the Belize Weather Underground at:

http://www.wunderground.com/global/stations/78583.html

Right below the phases of the moon, there is a link to the map. It can be set for date and time of the evening and rotated North, South, East or West. Great fun for teaching children astronomy or anyone who wants to know about the stars.
