It’s all relative. Those of us who live in cement houses with tile floors feel cold; see, there is no way to hear these places.
It was actually warmer on the veranda than inside. The wind keeps changing directions. When is come down from the north it is cold – when it comes up from the south it is warm. The low temperature in my place today was 74 but my feet said it was much colder. I actually resorted to a pair of socks for on the sofa and shoes (e-gads!) when feet on the floor.
Monday I laughed when I was driving the golf cart into the wind, complaining about how cold it was and I was barefoot and wearing shorts and a tank top.
Yesterday, as I was working on the drawings for the 2nd floor of my new house I decided a little fireplace would be nice. I was told that several of my new neighbors are also considering added one to their places.
Paradise is not perfect but it’s the next best thing.
