My boyfriend and I are staying at Banana Beach April 17-25. Can someone give me some advice on what/which tour guides to go with. What are some MUSTS we must experience while we are in Belize? Thanks!! ~Danni

Oh yeah, Lil Alphonse (Alfonso Graniel) is a fabulous guide!
Across the street from BB is a mini-grocery...
Since BB has a wonderful and generous breakfast, I would get a go box for some of the fresh fruit. After breakfast, go to the grocery and pick up a couple of the little meat pies made by locals. Put these & the fruit in your room frig and when you return from a morning snorkel, you have an easy and tasty lunch!

A ruin tour on the mainland.
Chicken drop is hilarious on Wed. at Caliente Very unique entertainment
Hol Chan Shark Ray Alley, I agree
Crocodile feeding at water tower around 4:30 every day is interesting
Diving Turneffe or Lighthouse
You can't go wrong with any of the tour operators mentioned on the board.
Searious, Seaduced, Tanisha, they're all fine.

IMHO, croc feeding is not just a novelty, but an accident waiting to happen ( and then , of course, it will be the croc's fault).....just be careful. _________________________________________ But then what do I know, I'm a mere caveman

Have the girls at monkey business book tours for you. Alphonse is wonderful!
I agree with klcman on the crocs...it is an accident waiting to happen.

I agree with kicman and PANDL. If you come back another time for more time, you'll want to hit Placencia on the southern coast of Belize. And make a trip to the mountains & jungle on the western side of Belize. You can go tubing down the river, or in a cave, and/or go horseback riding. I recommend Black Rock Jungle Lodge, my personal favorite. Just walk across the street from the BZC International airport and rent a SUV. Get a good map and make sure you reach your designation before dark, as there aren't many street lights and it gets REALLY, REALLY DARK out there. Check out these websites: http://www.blackrocklodge.com/ http://www.belizex.com/san_ignacio.htm http://www.placencia.com/
