Hi all,

The wifey and I will be down in Belize starting tomorrow and will be on Ambergris caye from 3/31 through 4/11. The only problem is that my wife just checked weather.com and it's listing rain for the next 10 days.....she's totally freaking out! Truth be told, I am too a little. Please assuage us by telling us that a rain forecast is normal and it's "island rain" that goes away as fast as it comes in. Better yet, tell me taht Weather.com always get their 10-day forecasts wrong because weatehr patterns can change quickly, especially in the Carribean....
even if it doesn rain the whole time we can't wait to spend 11 days on Ambergris Caye with all you good, good people!

Most weather services show the weather for Belize City. Things out here on Ambergris are usually different. We have had very little rain over the last two months. A few days of higher winds and rough seas. All said, the weather could change in five minutes. Come and enjoy whatever the country and weather brings to you.

I've heard that that the earth has a crack in it's magnetic shield, which could influence the forecast of an addled reporter.
