Conch pearls are rare and found by conch divers from time to time. They used to be plentiful when locals could walk out into the sea, lift a bit of seagrass and harvest lobster right from their front yard. They range from light pink to bright fuscia and are irregular in shape like a freshwater pearl. If someone approaches you with a pink or white perfectly spherical shaped pearl, its probably been carved (by man) from a conch shell.
