Most people on this board would know him as one of the sweetest dive masters they ever had. He worked for some time at Hustler - that's where I dove with him. I think he has been working at Patjoho's. That's where I met him on the beach Tuesday and he was the usual happy go lucky guy I've known. I can't stop crying.

How sad, what a beautiful life expired, how did it happen? How could it be?

A recent picture of Otto playing with Robbie's son Ryan at Chuck and Robbie's dock. Otto started working with Robbie about 5 months ago.

The picture of Otto made me cry! I miss him so much.

where do I start.... Otto's spirit is one that will never be forgotten always a likkle tricky as to what's really up. Those closest as my son Robbie, Randy and Chuck just can't believe it as we are all in shock. My heart of course to Dr. Otto who has saved so many lives it just must be to much... please send him strength and love to carry on. Don't let this go by hug and love those closest to you when when ya see the boys give them a hug. Oh Otto you will be misssed by all of us.

My wife and I joined a Hustler Cat en route to CC last May. Once we let the group off at Journey's End we rode back to San Pedro with Otto, Clive, and Jeffrey. They were all really great and Otto had a Che tattoo on his ankle. This is really sad. Please, can someone relate what happened?

I really don't know how much info can go out but foul play was not ruled out in the autopsy......Robbie and room mate found him Wednesday night. It's all too familiar... be in peace Otto

although i never met him, dr. otto is a very important person to me.

Otto junior worked for us on a few occasions and we always found it refreshing to have such a pleasant, intelligent and capable individual around. I had a drink with him just a few days before his death. This is a real tragedy that makes us very sad, and his father and family have our greatest sympathy.

Having not yet been to AC, I didn't have the pleasure of meeting this young man, but he must have been quite special, as he has touched the hearts of so many members here. My prayers and condolences to his family and friends.

My heart is with Robbie. I first met Otto through him, back when.

I had the pleasure of meeting and spending time with Otto last month in Belize. This is a complete shock. My heart goes out to all of his family and friends, my sympathies are with you. Miss you and I will pray for you always. Rest in peace. Love always, Sheena

Otto's body will arrive at 10:00 this morning and the funeral will be at 1:00 this afternoon at the Catholic Church.

His grave is just a few yards from where he used to work with Chuck & Robbie.

I dove with Otto a couple years ago at Hustler,he was smart,personable and full of life--SimonB,you are right, the moral character of this board shines thru the storms of life, and we are blessed to be a part of it. Amen

I never met this young man, but what a beautiful final resting place.

I was living in Belize for 4 months this past fall and spent several weekends with my friends hanging out with Oto and his buddies. I'm devasted to hear the news as he was one of the sweetest souls I ever met. He was good-looking, , fun to be around, happy, an excellent divemaster, a nice guy, but most of all, he was my friend. The world is a sadder place without Oto in it. I will miss him.
