We have been able to track down or confirm the safety of all our dear ones except Merlene from Placencia and Alfred Williams and family of Big creek. Has anyone news of their safety. I also have a house in Placencia and would appreciate any news of extent of damage. It is (was?) the 2 story octagon directly across from the Lagoon Saloon. Todd from Soulshine was living there and David Dial before that.

Merlene and her family are ok. The houses on lagoon side were not devastated as were the beach houses. Don't know exactly house-by-house though.
