A few weeks ago I was waxing lyrical about how brilliant Chon Saan Restaurant in San Pedro was. Scratch that. Never have I seen a restaurant go from "brilliant" to "really awful" in such a short span. My last 3 visits there were abysmal but I put it down to a fluke day. Today I ordered potato and beef soup. I got canned alphabet soup. For $11.00BZE.

The "cheese sauce" in Bananas Tim's mussels was canned cheese soup.

Absolutely awful. Not going back there anytime soon.

What a shame, they started off so well.

I ate there during all the positive chat( early March ) and found it overpriced and overrated,but with all the raving about it I kept silent until reading your post today

They are expensive but I did get 2 meals and a snack out of a delivery Chicken Egg Foo Young on Monday night. I can't complain about their food but I'm betting on different staff or staff changes.
