Other than coconut rum and more pineapple taste in a panty ripper, what is the difference in a rum punch and a panty ripper?
I would love to read recipes for both. This weekend we are breaking out the rum we brought home from Belize.

Do a search on this site - seems like there were some recipes not too long ago.

Hey TQ, here's the recipe for the fruity rum punch I made on Saturday. It was yummy and super easy to make!!! I wonder what it would taste like with 1 Barrel??

- 1 1/2 cups rum
- 1/3 cup banana liqueur
- 1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
- 1 (6 ounce) can frozen pineapple juice concentrate (replaced it with orange, banana and pineapple concentrate- couldn't find just pineapple)
- 1 orange, sliced into rounds
- 1 lime, sliced into rounds
- 1 lemon, sliced into rounds

Hi IBKeeper! Rum Punch normally on this island is :
1 oz. Rum
Equal parts of Pineapple, Orange and Grapefruit juice.
Splash of Grenadine on top
Cherry/orange/lime slice nice!
p.s. I like to add about 1/2 oz. of coconut rum, makes it more tropical!

I use white or dark rum, NOT one barrel!!!! That's too spicy for this drink, and changes the flavor from tropical.

A true panty Ripper should be made as follows;

Using chilled grnadine run a ring around the dide of a chilled glass, A bit like a Barbers sign.

Add One measure of Coconut Rum. Travellers is the best.

Blend pineapple with ice to make a thick juice. Add to drink. Ap-prox 8oz.

The last essential ingredient which most places forget is a teaspoon of orange juice.

Gently twizzle once and serve with a straw and garnish of pineapple.

Now that is a real Panty Ripper!

I spent too manym years bartending, that is why I now stick to cooking.

Y'all are great! I knew that I could find some answers here. It looks like you can use the coconut rum (my favorite)with both and still be "correct"!! beachboy, travelqueen, cakelee, deacon, and wonderwoman: Cheers! and thanks!
My friends are in for a San Pedro treat this weekend!
