I've always preferred staying close to town being the Party Animal I am!! So Aqua Marina for my vote.

Thanks all for the responses. I think I am just gonna stick to tried and true, and stay at Xanadu.
It's close enough to most things, plus just far enough off the beaten path for peace and quiet.
Also, I love driving around town in the golf carts, what a difference from my daily commute on the 405. UGH!

Law: Will you be staying close to the airport the night before you leave? And how is the San Salvador airport?

We will just drive down to LAX the evening of our flight, park off site and take a shuttle. San Salvador airport is a little larger than BZE, few duty free shops, a restaurant, and most importantly a bar!
Xanadu is an easy walk from BB. Have you compared rates?
