Tasha Hailey and Imar Hutchins

Tasha M. Hailey and Imar Lyman Hutchins are to be married this afternoon at the Victoria House on Ambergris Caye, Belize. The Rev. Thomas Murray, a Baptist minister, will officiate.

The bride, 34, is a lawyer at the New York headquarters of Pfizer, the pharmaceuticals company, where she specializes in mergers and acquisitions. She graduated magna cum laude from Howard University, where she received a law degree cum laude.

She is a daughter of Priscilla Hailey and Howard Hailey of Seattle. Her father is the owner of Seward Park Furs and Leathers in Seattle. Her mother is the president of Tiloben Publishing, which oversees the Seattle Medium Newspaper Group in Seattle.

The bridegroom, 35, is a real estate lawyer in New York. He graduated summa cum laude from Morehouse College in Atlanta and received his law degree from Yale.

He is the son of Walter Hutchins of Louisville, Ky., and the late Yvonne Hutchins. His father retired as a real estate broker and appraiser for McCarthy Real Estate in Philadelphia. His mother was a clinical psychologist in Philadelphia.

He is the grandson of the late Dr. Lyman T. Johnson, a civil rights pioneer who lived in Louisville.
