Just returned to Illinois after a week on SP--much more uncomfortable stateside.Leave raingear at home--if it's raining on SP--wait 20 minutes--it will most likely stop

umbrellas are always where you left them, never where you need them.

If it starts to rain go into the nearest bar (mine if possible) have a drink and a conversation and wait for it to stop. Then go outside and play in the mud.


It's all part of the adventure.

Hey, Just got back yesterday, it only really stormed once for about 20 minutes, just had to hot foot it into the house and close the porch doors and windows, it was quite a nice storm!
