Thx Sandb- any other details? We're shooting for Xmas week and best we came up with on the AA web site (searching felxible dates) ATL to BZE was more like $930 pp RT w/ a stop in MIA... suggestion?

Try Delta, three departures out of CVG through Atlanta with arrival by 2:00p at International. I don' know the fares but leaving at 8:00 and on the beach with a Belikin by 4:00 in December is my idea of bliss.

Christmas dates are always high. Extremely rare for deals to be had, and forget about your FF miles.

so is it better to go ahead and book your flight now???, i am trying to plan a trip for myself around mid DECEMBER for about a week

If it were me, I'd begin the booking process, find a fare/schedule/airline that seems reasonable. Go so far as to view the seats available. If only a couple left, book it. If lots of seats, hold off. Repeat every couple of days. Sometimes pretty amazing to see seats magically appear that were not there a week before.

Be sure to clear your cookies too as those airlines can be sneaky and not always show you the best fares, if they can tell you've been "shopping".
